this is another amazing manga about the taisho era that is so adorable!
it’s about Aoi whose family used to be a merchant family but became wealthy because their business was successful. unfortunately, she is nowhere near a lady yet and so for six years reiichirou, a fallen noble, has been teaching her the skills she needs. the story follows her daily life so it’s funny and cute
anyone who likes shoujos with a historical twist should definitely read this!
i’ve been meaning to make a post about this manga ever since it came out because it’s by Kayoru so of course the art is gorgeous (seriously, the art is freaking beautiful) and everything is adorable 😉
it’s about a girl named himemiya mitsuki who was just a normal high school student with a cruch on her neighbor. But on her 16th birthday, she notices some changes which lead to her everyday life being drastically changed. (i didn’t really want to spoil that much so im sorry if my summary is weird!)

this shoujo just came out really recently and i absolutely love it. it’s kind of weird because the prologue is under Shinigami Hime no Saikon and a chapter that just came out recently that doesn’t really follow the story chronologically is Shinigamihime no Saikon – Baraen no Tokei Kousaku.
it’s about a girl named alicia faitlin who is the daughter of an aristocrat but her first marriage ended with the death of the fiance and thus gave her the label of “”the princess of death”. a year later, her uncle finally is able to arrange a marriage for her but her new fiance is rumored to be a tyrant
the art is adorable!! seriously, it’s gorgeous so shoujo lovers should read this!

it’s about a girl named adrienne who is kidnapped by a former prince named donatian christian so that she could bear his child. at first, adrienne hadn’t liked him but now she’s in love with him. this story follows their life together and the people they meet and the challenges they face.

i’ve been meaning to recommend this manga for a long time now and finally i’ve gotten around to remembering 😉
this is pretty interesting because it’s really different from your typical shoujo manga. it’s about a girl named noriko who gets into an accident during a track competition but when she opens her eyes she meets a doctor who tells her that they were only able to preserve her brain in a black box. then she slowly learns to live and falls in love only as a brain in a box.
it’s interesting, cute, and the art is amazing so all shoujo lovers should read this!
i’m so excited! chihayafuru just came back and judging by the first season, the anime will just get better and better.
for those of you who didn’t watch the first season, i suggest that you watch it as soon as possible. it’s funny, the art is gorgeous, and all the characters are absolutely amazing.
it’s about chihaya ayase who loves karuta which is a card game in japan (just google karuta, it’s hard to explain…) that is also extremely competitive. when chihaya was younger, she met a boy named arata wataya who basically taught her how amazing karuta really was. ever since then, she’s been striving to be the best karuta player in japan and now she’s in high school and of course she starts a club and meets incredible people while playing karuta.
so far in season 2, it’s been great. it’s still hilarious, the art is still as good, and things seem like they’ll get better so definitely watch this anime!
this is one of the new animes that are part of the winter simulcast and i’m just going to review each of them after i watch them.
this anime is actually pretty strange/confusing. it’s about this girl who, at the beginning of the episode, passes out at the cafe where she works and loses her memories. then she meets two guys who are supposedly her two childhood friends but of course she can’t remember them. next, she talks to this spirit that only she can hear and realizes that his soul bumped into hers which caused her to lose her memory and she learns that she should go about her daily life and hope to regain her memories.
it’s okay if you like stories with amnesia. the art is amazing though. seriously, the art is gorgeous, the male characters are all really really REALLY hot, and the plot seems to be going somewhere. you should watch this if you’re more into the girly-shoujo animes
this is a great josei manga that’s got a lot of cute sibling stuff 🙂
it’s about a 23 year old office lady named Komatsu Momo who was separated from her three brothers fifteen years ago. now she’s planning to get married soon and so she contacts her brothers and soon everything gets turned upside down.
it’s by Enjouji Maki so the art is good, there’s a lot of humor, and you’ll grow to love all the characters!

this is a cute manga by shiraishi yuki so of course the art is gorgeous
it’s about Origawa Industry Public High School nicknamed the “Jail School” which is filled with guys. but in this school, there’s a single girl named nozomi who is the leader of her class. when soga keiji transfers into her class and doesn’t talk to anyone, she tries to get him to join the car competition with the rest of the class.
the manga is pretty short (it only has three chapters or so) but the romance is adorable and the art is amazing so try this for a quick read!
a great new shoujo (yes another shoujo that i found) that is adorable and all the characters are a bit….weird but funny
it’s set in a world where there are flowernoids, dolls that were created to calm people’s hearts. in a clinic on top of a hill lives satsuki kasumi who has an extreme fear of people but is a repairman who fixes flowernoids. since she’s pretty bad at communicating to other people, everyone thinks that if they touch her they’ll die so people leave her alone. one day she finds an flowernoid-a rose, an extremely expensive kind- and after accidently saying his name he follows her home and decides that she’ll be his new master.
the story is great, the art is beautiful, the characters are fresh and cute so read this if you like cute heroines!
this is a cute shoujo with a lot of comedy and a tsundere. i starting enjoying the manga after “comedy” and “tsundere”
the story follows haruko nanase who used to get really bad grades but one day started to try studying and realized it was fun. now she’s entering an extremely prestigious high school as the top student. although she’s smart, she has no idea how to interact with other people. one day while riding the train, she witnesses a fight with one of the guys wearing th same uniform as her school’s. When the fight is over, he tries to make her pay a fee for watching the fight but she escapes. the next day, it turns out that guy is in her class and what’s worse he sits next to her. but once she meets him, she starts to see things differently than before.
the manga is pretty promising (why is there only one chapter out?!?!) and the characters are pretty amusing to watch so anyone who like comedy, school life, and romance, try this
sorry for the long wait but here is a great shoujo manga that i absolutely love!
it’s about a guy named yanagi who is rich, smart, and good looking so basically the perfect guy whoo was always the best at what he did. then in comes kujou who transfers into his primary school class. she’s plain looking, is boring, and poor but beats him in academics and sports on the first day she arrives. when that happened, yanagi swore that he would beat her one day and followed her (it’s actually cute, not creepy) throughout high school and finally into college where his feelings for her have changed a bit..
the story is adorable, there’s a lot of humor, and the art is gorgeous so shoujo lovers should definitely read this!

the story follows ririchiyo who is the descendant of an ayakashi. in the past, ayakashi and humans mixed and for some reason, the families with the ayakashi blood have always been very rich. but since the people who inherit the blood are seen as the ayakashi reincarnated, the families always treat them like the early ayakashi and so ririchiyo developed a sharp tongue to protect herself. since the descendants are weaker than full blooded ayakashi, to protect them there was a building where ayakashi descendants would live together with secret service body guards and they would band together in case they were attacked. the anime starts as ririchiyo moves in to the building, intending to live alone but she finds her own guard there. although she tries to get rid of him at first, she slowly gets to know him and meets the other people who live in the building.
i probably didn’t explain the plot right but definitely check this one out! there’s a lot of humor, the art is amazing (god, i want ririchiyo’s hair!), there’s romance, and there’s some action. the anime recently ended (the second i finished watching the last episode i wrote this post ;)) so watch this!!!

if you didn’t read venus capriccio i’ll just say it again: the art is GORGEOUS! i’m sorry i used the summary from mangahere but i just couldn’t find the right words to summarize the manga! and it was driving me crazy.
anyways, the story has a lot of romance, humor, and you’ll just fall in love with ran’s character.
i found this great new shoujo and it’s got romance, humor, and a hilarious female character.
the story is about a girl named Noah who chooses to go to Saint Rinnell after seeing a really handsome guy in one of their brochures. she’s a really talented painter and was adopted by her grandparents when she was young so she’s always loved her family but is a little bit….weird. during the opening ceremony of her school, she sees the guy from the brochure but ends up getting suspended. then her house burns down and since they have a large debt to pay back she started to plan on quitting school but the guy that she followed to the school tells her that he’ll pay for the debt. of course, this leads to a huge mess that i’m really looking forward to
the art is nice and noah has a hilarious personality so read this is you want to read a funny shoujo
